- Designer's Statement -

For a subject matter- I present labyrinths, where unlike in a maze that forces decisions, the only choice in a labyrinth is whether or not to turn back before reaching the conclusion.

Simple, distinct, and enduring, my debut collection is deeply geometric, centered, fractal or self-similar, symbolic, scalable and semi-symmetrical. Each piece exhibits proportions that touch close to Phi, or the golden section, a mathematical ratio described as both the Divine Proportion, and the Ecstasy of Nature.

Fascinated and inspired by the ancient knowledge berers who infused their works with principals of  'The Path,'  as well as contemporary teachers of wisdom who preach the harmonizing applications of sacred geometry - I present these ageless designs to educe the mysterious tinglings of the mystical in people naturally piqued by enchanted artifacts, mythical stories, and/or sacred sites.

Offering both framed 2-D artworks and 3-D sculptures, each piece is a potential floor plan for a walkable installation, such as: garden layouts, city park features, or even megalithic-sized additions to Earth - to honor the classical elements of nature.

Be drawn into these  ‘Labyrinths Worth The Stare’  for they're eternal concepts that shall stand the test of time.

Designer’s Quote: “When developing the Labyrinths Collection, my vision pushed me towards simplicity, then the math and proportions pulled me along a path of enhanced, yet subtle, complexity.”
